Give & Save Website {Review}

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I have always been a giver for as long as I can remember. Giving makes me feel good and it just feels right. Of course, we all like to receive as well, it's only natural. So what if I told you that there is now a website that you can buy services and products at a discounted price and a portion of it will go to a charity of your choice? Give and save does just that! Here is how it works:

1. Subscribe for free to receive great Daily Deal Savers (deals up to 75% off) from Give and Save in your email inbox.
2. When you see a Deal you would like to purchase, just select the BUY IT button and purchase the Deal Saver.
3. When the Daily Deal Saver has ended and the Saver has tipped, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. When your payment is confirmed, your deal will be ready to redeem and 10-50% of your purchase price will be donated to the charity you chose at checkout.
4. You can access your Deal Saver through your email link or login to www.GiveandSave.com and access Your Account.

For example, on the website right now is this Samsung Ease-Fit Armband for only $12.00. ($25.00 value and a 52% discount) Then up to 50% would be donated to the charity of your choice, which I chose to support the American Cancer Society - Kellie Miner Fund.

I think the site is still in its early stages because there aren't many services/products to choose from at this time. Either way, I think it is a great concept and will continue to support Give and Save

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale {Review}

I have never owned a kitchen scale before but have always wanted to. I was pretty excited to receive the Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale to review. It's funny how as we get older we get excited for kitchen and household products. My first impression of the Ozeri Touch digital kitchen scale is that it is sleek, modern, light-weight, and nicely designed. Not only does this scale look great but I love that it has a precision tare feature that automatically subtracts the weight of the container providing the net weight of the ingredients. The Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale comes with a user manual, a calorie guide, and U.S. Postal First class letter rate guide. I have never thought of using my kitchen scale to measure the weight of my outgoing mail, but I will say this will definitely come in handy. I can't tell you how many times I have had to go to the post office just to weigh my letter to see how many stamps to use.

Some other features of the Ozeri Touch II Professional Digital Kitchen Scale are:

1. Features Microban Antibacterial Product Protection – helps prevent the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria. This added level of protection won’t wear away fro the life of the scale.

2. Large high-contrast LCD screen (calculates in lbs, kilograms, grans & ounces)

3. Innovative touch sensitive buttons for ease of use.

4. Includes long lasting Lithium CR2032 batteries.

If you are looking for a kitchen scale, I would recommend this scale to you. You can get it on Amazon right now for $28.95!

Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set {Review}

You all should know by now how much I love Ozeri and I was stoked to get another product from them to review. I received the Instavac green earth food storage container set which is by far my favorite product from them so far. My first impression of the set was their high quality and seem to be very durable, which is always a plus. This storage set is not only BPA-Free, but it has a new vacuum seal technology and locking lids that helps reduce bacteria from spoiling your food. These are super easy to use, simply press down on the lid a few times, which will remove the excess air. To open the container, you lift the seal which will release the air and voila!

Another feature on the Ozeri instavac food storage set is that each container has a date dial on it. This allows you to set the day of the month you stored your food on, which I thought was pretty neat. These containers are also stain-resistant, shatter-proof, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe. I have never owned any other instavac type storage containers so I can't really compare them but I do know that these work great and I love them. You can purchase your own at Amazon.com.

Update

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted much lately. Just wanted to give you an update though. Everyone knows the Holidays are hectic and it was indeed the same for me. I ended up hurting my back where I could barely move walk for about two weeks. It was a horrible pain that I never want to experience again. Want to know how I hurt it? Of course you do! I sneezed. Yeah, that is all I did. Ha, I knew I was officially old at that point.

I also celebrated my 30th birthday! (Like I just said, I am old!) A few friends and I went to dinner and then went out for some drinks and dancing afterwards. It was a lot of fun and here are a few pics from that night!

My friend that moved away came back for a weekend for her last company Christmas party and I got to go as her date. It was Masquerade themed and I love myself a themed party so I was very excited to go. We partied like it was our high school's 11th year reunion and acted 21 again. We had so much fun, like usual.

My mom ended up in the hospital a week or so before Christmas. After numerous tests, she was diagnosed with Shingles. I never realized how common it is. She is out of the hospital now but is still in a lot of pain.

I am sick, again! It seems to be going in a circle with this bipolar weather we are all having. Last week it was 74 degrees and right now it is 33 degrees. Don't get me wrong, I love cold weather but I hate the big jumps in temperatures that keeps getting everyone sick.

Anyway, that is all for now. Hope all is well with all of my Don't Judge Me readers. Happy New Year!

Ozeri Green Earth Textured Nonstick Frying Pan Review

Ozeri has given me the opportunity to review another amazing product of theirs. They sent me the Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan. What makes this frying pan special from others? It is 100% PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) and PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid) free. Ozeri utilizes GREBLON, which is a safe ceramic coating and has a innovative texture which delivers enhanced heat distribution and non-stick performance without ever releasing harmful fumes or toxins.

What I hate about most pans is they get scratched up so easily. I really like that the Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan has a scratch-resistant ceramic coating and is also super easy to clean. Easy cleaning is always a plus for me! It also doesn't hurt that the pan itself is green, which is one of my favorite colors. I haven't come across anything negative about this pan. It does what it says, looks nice, it's durable, and affordable. I definitely recommend this product.

I read some reviews about the nonstick quality not lasting; so far that has not been an issue for me. If you want to read more reviews or are interested in buying one for yourself, you can do so on Amazon. You can also check Ozeri out on Facebook.

Ozeri 4x3 runner Digital Pedometer Review

I had the opportunity to review the 4x3 runner digital pedometer by Ozeri. It was pretty easy to set up with the instruction manual they included. Within minutes, I was ready to test it out. This pedometer has dual modes, for walking and jogging, which I thought was pretty neat.

Not only do I love the color, style, and look of this pedometer but all of the features as well. The Ozeri 4x3 digital pedometer records fat burned, speed, distance, calories, exercise time, fat burned, steps to goal, and both jogging and walking modes. If that isn't impressive enough, here are some more of the features:

  • Tri-Axis Technology Works in any Position
  • New 3D Smart Sensor Ensures Total Accuracy
  • Counts up to 1 Million Steps
  • 30-Day Memory
  • Auto Sleep Mode
  • Sleek Profile Fits in any Pocket

I have used the pedometer several times already and I love it. Seems very accurate and easy to use. Just clip it on and start walking. When not in use, it goes on  sleep mode to conserve battery life. Another great Ozeri product!

This would make a great gift for the fitness lover on your holiday shopping list. You can buy it from Amazon and it is currently on sale for only $28.95!

Let's Be Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the Let's Be Friends Blog Hop!

A blog hop is a set time frame for current or aspiring bloggers to find new blogs and quality content. It is a great way to make new friends and find inspiration! It is also a fabulous way to promote your own blog and posts.

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 42nd Let's Be Friends Blog Hop!

Join us every Tuesday at 9am (MST). This blog hop focuses on content. I love the idea of blog hopping, but I love the idea of reading posts and quality content on new blogs I've never been to even more. Instead of simply linking up your blog button, you are now able to link up your favorite post you recently wrote. Have a delicious recipe to share, DIY tutorial, or heartfelt post? Share it with us! All hosts and co-hosts put up some unique and fun content from the past week. Make sure to check them out. P.S.- you may still link up your blog button and blog name, but it is encouraged to link up your favorite post instead. You will get more page views and interest if you do so! Some of the most successful blog hops I have participate in focus on content rather than just exchanging follows. You never know who will become a loyal follower or pin that delicious new recipe you posted!

The BEST part of this blog hop? Each week there will be a WINNER! That's right, each week we will choose one lucky blog to feature from the previous week's hop. This hop receives thousands of page views every week, so your blog will have the chance to be center stage for free. You must follow all the hosts and co-hosts in order to win.

The last exciting change is that the co-host spots will now be available to all sponsors of All My Happy Endings or The Dwelling Tree. If you are interested in co-hosting the blog hop, email Tiffany or Mandi about sponsorship opportunities and how to co-host the weekly hop!

Let's Be Friend's Blog Hop Guidelines
1. Link up your favorite post from your week.
2. Follow your hosts and co-hosts.
3. Grab the button and post it on your blog so we can share the love.
4. Visit 3 other blogs and follow them along!
5. Tweet about this blog hop, using #letsbefriends
6. Pin the button on pinterest so we can spread the news!

***This weeks featured post from last week's hop:

I have to say, I am having a hard time picking a winner each week. After reading so many of your amazing posts, I stumbled across this post. It made me cry. It is so beautifully put, and moving. Any parent will relate. Even if you are not a parent, this is a heartfelt and lovely read.

I so relate with this post. Recently, I have been amazed with how difficult parenting is. This was a heart check for me. One of my favorite parts of this post reads: "You get in the way of me.  And that, really, is actually the biggest inconvenience of all.You make abundantly obvious the futility of living a life that revolves around me and is all about me and ends with me."

Check out the blog The Jelly Jars, written by 3 sisters who are trying to preserve their sweet lives on one blog. There is some beautiful content on there.

All of you- thank you from the depth of my soul for the fabulous content you are sharing! What talent, and how fun is it for me to go through all these posts and read! I have been blown away by all of the posts you put up. I am LOVING getting to know so many of you through your lives, recipes and tutorials.

*Remember YOU can be next weeks winner! :)
