Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collection Review

If anyone knows me, I am not a crafty person. I am in no way creative either. Yet, when I was asked to review the Spellbinders Celebra’tions Collection, I was really looking forward to it. Spellbinders Celebra'tions by Richard Garay, is a complete collection of dies, stamps, paper, inks & accessories all coordinated to work perfectly together. Create one-of-a-kind cards, gifts, scrapbook layouts and more! I was sent two make and take kits from the New Spellbinders Celebra’tions Collection to review and let me tell you, they were so easy to make!

First up is the Celebrate Party Hat Card

Celebra’tions Spellbinders Supplies Included:

  • Golden Glow Cardstock
  • Whirl White Cardstock
  • Cool Caribbean Cardstock
  • Captivating Coral Cardstock
  • Prints
  • Sea Spray Ink
  • Linen Thread
  • Create-a-Cone Die Template
  • Enhanced Banner Die Template
  • Foam Squares Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
  • Sequins

Instructions:
  • Fold the Cool Caribbean Cardstock in half to create your card base.
  • Using adhesive attach the Whirl White Cardstock piece to the card base.
  • Using adhesive attach the Celebra’tions Prints (pink polka dot) piece to the Whirl White Cardstock.
  • Fold the Create-a-Cone die cut piece to make your party hat and add adhesive to secure in place; attach the party hat to the card front with foam squares.
  • Layer your flower die cuts and add the center polka dot piece with a foam square.
  • Tie a bow using the Celebra’tions Linen Thread and place on the party hat. Using a foam square secure the flower over the top of the bow and attach to the party hat.
  • Add the “celebrate” banner using a foam square and tuck it just under the flower pedals.
  • Embellish with sequins and enjoy!

The second kit I received is the Best Day Ever Treat Bag.

Celebra’tions Spellbinders Supplies Included:

  • Pixie Play Cardstock
  • Whirl White Cardstock
  • Build-a-Tag One Die Template
  • Fun Tags Stamp Set
  • Odacious Orange Ink
  • Pretty Plum Ink
  • Pixie Play Ink
  • Linen Thread
  • Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
  • Kraft Paper Bag

Instructions:
  • Using scissors, trim around the “Happy Day” stamped image and the Pretty Plum colored “Celebration” banner; adhere to Odacious Orange stamped tag.
  • Using foam squares attach the Odacious Orange tag to the Pixie Play textured tag.
  • Fill Kraft Bat with a special treat then use the Celebra’tions Linen Thread to wrap around the top of the bag. Attach the tags to the bag, tie a bow, and enjoy!
Spellbinders is great for everyone, young or old and whether you are crafty or not so much like myself, the kits make it easy and fun. I really enjoyed making these two crafts and look forward to making more.

Disclosure: The Spellbinders brand provided me with a sample of Spellbinders Celebra’tions Collection in exchange for a product review. However, all the opinions expressed here are my own.
